Over the past 10-20 years church as a whole has become very quite when it comes to topics such as the Holy Spirit or the baptism in the Holy Spirit. One reason is because churches have become so focused on being seeker friendly that we really don’t want to scare anyone away by getting spiritual at church.
It’s easy for us to understand and identify God as our father and creator, it’s easy for us to understand and identify Jesus as our savior but when it comes to the Holy Spirit, we’re just not sure what to do with Him.
