Dear Crossroads Community Church,
The health and safety of our congregation is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation. There’s no doubt that concerns regarding it have escalated over the past 24-48 hours as new cases and research have presented itself. This is a confusing time, but Proverbs 4:6 tells us to walk in wisdom and with that in mind, we are taking steps to do just that.
Our state governing officials have put strict guidelines in place for gatherings that our Assemblies of God District Office and Penndel Council are asking for all churches to follow and with that being said —
Sunday, March 22 and Sunday, March 29 church services will be held online ONLY. Our weekly ministry programs (events from March 16th-29th) will be postponed.
With our service being available online we are happy to say that the church isn’t closed, just the building is! Our outstanding media team is doing everything within their power to provide quality ministry online, primarily through our church Facebook account. As many of you already know, we are looking to launch our new website and we will keep you up to date as much as possible with the website’s launch date and time so that it can be an additional resource for our church to use during this time of online driven ministry.
What can you do during this time?
I believe the Assemblies of God World Missions model gives us the best answer!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
– Philippians 4:6
Pray for unity in our country. Pray for our government officials. Pray for the countries that have been impacted and for our country. Pray for C3. Let’s be people of faith and prayer during this time.
Give not only your time to the Lord — trusting in Him and seeking His will for your life — but also your finances & tithes. A financial reality that we face as a church is that although we aren’t meeting on the church property, ministry is still happening. Your ongoing financial faithfulness will be a blessing to C3 during this time and according to scripture, in return, will be a blessing to you.
Go online and join us for our services. Be a witness to friends and family by sharing our testimony videos, sermons, devotionals etc.
We would love to hear how a sermon or topic has blessed you personally! Please feel free to comment on our posts or share it with your testimony.
We have a culture that is currently looking for hope and consistency in an ever-changing world. Let’s join together by ministering to those around us about the God who is our rock, foundation and source of Hope!
