Satan is a created being originally created by God as an Angel. Ezekiel 28
Describes how beautiful Satan was, God created him to be perfect in wisdom and beauty, a spectacle of flawlessness and gave him special capabilities in music and voice. He was an angel of high position and satan- called lucifer at the time, had favor with God.
But then things went wrong. Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 teach us that
Satan started to think too highly of himself because …of all his gifts, he started to crave the honor that was bestowed on God for himself.— we call this pride.
